Andrew Jackson, recently appointed as the new British Counsel General to Dubai and Northern Emirates, invited Direct Access to the British Embassy to explore how Dubai will achieve its aim of being the most accessible city by 2020.
Director Steven Mifsud and Head of Engagement (Middle East) Stephen Dering, discussed the implications of the Dubai Universal Design Code in improving access for People of Determination. Mr Jackson congratulated the team on multiple contract wins and the opening of Direct Access’ first office in the region, in Dubai South.
“The new office reflects our dedication to providing clients within the United Arab Emirates and the Middle East with unparalleled, high quality customer service,” said Steven Mifsud. “The new office enables Direct Access to provide local, on-site advice and guidance on new building design and retrofitting established premises to achieve access for People of Determination.”
